What is InterStar? InterStar is the Broadband version of IPstar. The Broadband version of IPstar just needs an Ethernet connection via an RJ45 connector.
Who should use InterStar? If you call internationally and have a broadband Internet connection, then you must have an Inter Star. If you are in Pakistan and you call many different countries then you can reduce your phone bill by approximately 70 percent.
In Pakistan DSL connections from Multinet, Micronet and WOL are good. Cable internet from WorldCall is also good for our product.How Does InterStar work?
InterStar makes phone calls over the Internet. InterStar can connect itself to the internet through a RJ45 connector by using it's built-in LAN card. No computer is needed.
How can I call for free anywhere in the world?
You need 2 Devices - either InterStar or IPstar. All Device to IPStar calls are free.
How easy is IPstar to use? If you can use a phone, you can use IPstar. Setup is also very easy. You just use the buttons on the front to select the menu options, and your phone set to enter options. Once it is set up you do not need to touch it again.
You do NOT have to be technical person to setup IPstar. If your LAN uses DHCP then no settings are required at all, otherwise you need to enter 3 settings. [1] IP Address, [2] Subnet mask, [3] Gateway IP address.
How good is the voice quality? With a good Network the voice quality is as good as a land line. It is usually better than that provided by PTCL. Try it and see!
I want to send a fax. Can I use the IP Star?
We recommend that you use the EBS internet fax system to send faxes. The advantage is that the delivered fax is exceptionally clear. Also, if any page does not go through, then there is no charge.
